This row quilt was our contribution to the Sierra 2 Sage Shop Hop of 2018. Each shop had to design a quilt row using a phrase from America The Beautiful as their inspiration. Our phrase was "Above Thy Fruited Plain!" and the row created by the shop's owner, Laura, and her sister brings that phrase to life. Four ombre fabrics from Timeless Treasures were used as well as a foundational piece of muslin. The mountains, sun, and birds are all raw edge applique, fused and stitched down with matching thread.
