This quilt kit uses the pattern by Barbara Persing and fabric line "Tweet" by Island Batiks. All fabrics shown on the pattern are included in this kit except for the background fabric. We have substituted the basic white batik with RJR's Bare Essesntials Deluxe RJ504-WW1. Barbara Persing uses the raw edge applique method for the pattern. As Barbara says in her pattern "Birds are nature's perfect inspiration for me as a designer. There are endless combinations of shapes and colors."
